About Us
Pramataris & Associates is a group psychology practice in New York City. Our specialty is the neuropsychological assessment of children, adolescents, and young adults with learning, language, and attention difficulties. All of our clinicians have completed a two-year fellowship in neuropsychological assessment and have received specialized training in educational advocacy. To provide the highest level of service, we administer our assessments personally and without the use of technicians, assistants, or students.
Peter Pramataris, PsyD
Dr. Pramataris is the founder & director of Pramataris & Associates. For well over a decade, Dr. Pramataris served as the director of the Center for Attention and Learning at Northwell Health/Lenox Hill Hospital, where he headed the neuropsychological assessment and consultation services. He continues to instruct post-doctoral residents for Lenox Hill Hospital's department of psychiatry, who awarded him for excellence in teaching. Dr. Pramataris advises on several boards, including the New York Neuropsychology Group, the Lang School, and AbleTo, a national-scale behavioral health company that he co-founded in 2008. Dr. Pramataris completed clinical training at NYU Medical Center, St. Mary's Hospital for Children, and Lenox Hill Hospital. He received a combined doctorate in school psychology and child clinical psychology from Yeshiva University. |
Anna Ward Goodearl, PhD
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Goodearl serves as the current director of the Center for Attention and Learning at Northwell Health- Lenox Hill Hospital. Previously, she was the director of the Child and Adolescent Psychoeducational Treatment Program within the Children's Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center of Montefiore Medical (formerly Albert Einstein College of Medicine). She earned her PhD in school psychology from Columbia University and a masters degree in measurement and evaluation from New York University. Prior to receiving her masters, Dr. Goodearl spent four years as a research associate at the Yale Child Study Center conducting developmental evaluations. She completed her undergraduate studies in psychology at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Goodearl is a member of the American Psychological Association, National Association of School Psychologists, International Neuropsychological Society and the New York Neuropsychology Group. |
Shauna Dixon, PhD
Dr. Dixon has worked as a neuropsychologist with Pramataris & Associates since 2012. She received her master's degree in educational neuroscience from Harvard University and a doctorate in School Psychology from St. John’s University, where her research interests focused on demonstrating how advances in neuroscience can impact school psychology practice. Following her doctorate, Dr. Dixon completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Northwell Health-Lenox Hill Hospital's Center for Attention and Learning, where she specialized in the assessment and diagnosis of children with academic, attention, and executive functioning difficulties. Dr. Dixon is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist, and has published extensively in professional books on assessment and intervention practices. |
